Although, we think we live now in a modern and advanced civilization is important to consider the ancient history of our world based on the archeological findings and exploration made recently about human roots. Theosophy explains that the human species started with a first race, the Hiperborian starting the evolution cycle of seven races in which we re now in the fifth race, the Aryan race to complete the cycle achieving, at the seventh, the maximun possible evolved being. Thus, Theosophy describes seven Root Races, a series of human evolutionary stages, including the Polarians, Hyperboreans, Lemurians, Atlanteans, and the current, Fifth Root Race, the Aryans. Each Root Race comprises seven sub-races, and the entire concept is part of a larger evolutionary cycle within a "chain" of seven planets, with each planet representing a different round of evolution. This concept is not about biological races but rather distinct stages of spiritual and physical evolution for humankind. The Seven Root Races

(Evolutionary Stages)

  1. Polarians: The first Root Race, characterized by a dense, physical, but not fully human form.

  2. Hyperboreans: The second Root Race, which evolved after the Polarians, known for their conquest of the element of air, according to some sources.

  3. Lemurians: The third Root Race, which originated on the continent of Lemuria.

  4. Atlanteans: The fourth Root Race, arising after the decline of the Lemurians.

  5. Aryans(Current Root Race): The fifth and current human Root Race, which began after the fall of Atlantis.

  6. Sixth Root Race: The next stage of human evolution, which is currently in the process of being prepared for by the Americans, according to some Theosophical texts.

  7.  Seventh Root Race: The final stage of human evolution within this particular planetary chain.

Root Races are not only physical races: Theosophy's concept of "race" extends beyond physical characteristics to include spiritual and intellectual evolution.

Technological advances in Atlantis civilization. Atlanteans understood universal forces and had learned to fly, had central heating, sonar, and television. Central to Atlantean technologies was a firestone, a large crystal that collected energy from the stars and then gave off energy to power the technology of the land. Key Fictional Technologies:

  • Energy Sources: Legends describe Atlanteans using a large crystal, or "firestone," to collect and distribute energy, possibly from stars or the Earth's magnetic field.

  • Aeronautics and Maritime Engineering: Stories tell of flight and advanced ships, surpassing even modern combustion engines.

  • Advanced Materials: The mythical metal orichalcum is mentioned in Plato's original accounts as being used for decorative purposes on the city's structures, though its nature is unknown.

  • Communication: Some interpretations suggest Atlanteans had technologies for distant communication, possibly using crystals.

Construction and Engineering: Plato described a marvel of urban planning with concentric rings of canals and land, built with advanced engineering, including large ships that could enter the city.

Vimanas or flying vehicles. In India, "vimanas" can refer to two distinct concepts: mythological flying vehicles described in ancient Hindu texts like the Ramayana and Mahabharata, and the architectural structure atop the inner sanctum of South Indian and Odishan Hindu temples. The flying chariots were said to be advanced aerial craft used by gods and heroes, while the architectural vimana is a tiered, pyramid-shaped structure that forms the temple's main spire.

Mythological Vimanas (Flying Machines)

  • Ancient Texts:

These flying vehicles are featured in epic Hindu literature, such as the Ramayana, where the Pushpaka Vimana is used by Lord Rama, and the Mahabharata, which mentions aerial vehicles in battles.

  • Characteristics:

Descriptions vary but often portray them as multi-tiered, self-propelled structures capable of travel between planets, sometimes possessing advanced capabilities like invisibility.

  • Purpose:

They were used by gods, celestial beings, and legendary heroes for travel and even warfare.

Modern Context: Some believe these texts hint at lost advanced ancient technology, while others consider them purely mythological symbols of divine power and wisdom.
