​You​Human Ethics and Earthquakes

Current scientific theories about earthquakes are not satisfactory.

Hindus have a superstition that the great serpent Basuki carries the Earth on his head, and when the Earth becomes too heavy due to his sins, this serpent moves his head, causing earthquakes.

If we go deeper into this superstition, we can glimpse what the ancients thought about the cause of earthquakes.

According to the tantric philosophy of yoga, the Earth is supported by a force called Kundalini Shakti. This force is the life of the Earth. It is symbolically represented by a snake coiled three and a half times around the lingam-sharira of the Earth. In the microcosm, this force is a state of tension that produces a current whose movement occurs along a spiral.

According to Professor Maxwell, electricity is a state of tension in the luminiferous ether, and all phenomena of magnetic force are observed when electricity flows along a spiral. Starting from this, we can consider that what in modern science is called magnetism is a form of the Kundalini Shakti of the Hindu yogis. Scientists have proven that the Earth is a great magnet. And I believe that the internal disturbance in the Earth's magnetism is symbolically represented by the previously mentioned superstition about the cause of earthquakes.

Modern scientists see no connection between the cause of earthquakes and events on the mental plane of the Earth. But when you understand that there is no chance in the universe, that every event that seems random is the effect of a force on the mental plane, you will be able to understand why superstitious Hindus see earthquakes as effects of the accumulated sins of human beings.

Properly understood, Hindu superstition means the following: that the accumulated effect of the bad karma of human beings on Earth, imprinted on the astral fire, produces a change in the position of the force center of terrestrial life. This center of force, which Hindus call Padma or Chakra, is the head of Basuki. When, to preserve itself, the Earth needs to change the position of the center of its activity, a disturbance occurs in its internal magnetism and earthquakes occur—among other phenomena—in the same way that nervous tremors occur in the human body.

Only an Adept, someone who deeply understands all aspects of natural forces, can know how correct this Hindu view is. Let the reader seek the help of an adept to clarify his doubts; And, having said that, I have nothing more to add.
