Universal Laws

I’ve heard of the Universal Laws, but not the Unseen Laws, so this list is interesting to me.  If you were a teenager in the 1960s or 70s, you would have heard the Jackie DeSannon song, “What the world needs now is love”.  And that is certainly true for people who have a conscience and can recognize the gift of love.  For people of conscience, love is like a drink of water in a desert of uncaring people, and finally breathing air when you’ve been emotionally underwater.

The “Law of Access” speaks to the truth of that:  “Sharing sacred things with unworthy people gives dark forces access to you.  Guard your spiritual intimacy”.  We’ve also heard the expression “Don’t throw pearls before swine”, (when dealing one-on-one with a person with low morality such as psychopaths & narcissists?).  Unfortunately, the concept of “unconditional” love doesn’t allow for the reality that abuse has a habit of following exploitation.

A recently webinar where people were talking about love, especially in the context of giving unconditional love to EVERYONE, whether they deserved it or not, was mentioned that love doesn’t work in every situation — that psychopaths, narcissists, cults, and entrenched political belief systems don’t respond to love.  After all, even in the Christian belief system, Christ had to escape the maddening crowds, was a victim of entrenched & dogmatic politics, cultish mobs got him killed.  Love wasn’t even allowed to LIVE.

Christianity in particular has failed in its conversations about love by ignoring how love doesn’t always apply, and in certain instances won’t even succeed.  Christ was someone that Christianity has held up as an example pure love, while at the same time, failing to teach the flip side of when love DOESN’T work — especially when love is gifted with unconditional blind trust.

Many women (1 out of every 4 of us) who have been raped have had to unlearn unconditional trust and love, the hard way.  You can add young boys with their priests who have been given authority over them to that list too.

Mob mentality combined with politics and/or religion truly doesn’t CARE about love, and may even see it as a fool’s weakness to be exploited and abused.  Their scorecard of victims needs another tally.  They respect THEMSELVES MORE when they DON’T respect YOU.

In today’s political arena, loving and caring for each other, as well as loving and caring for the Earth and its animals has been ridiculed by certain cultish political groups.  Do you remember how an active President said to insurrectionists as he sent them home:  “You’ve shown a lot of LOVE here today”. Even the CONCEPT of love can be exploited.  Just look at the propaganda of terrorists.

Love is GREAT — but it needs to be STREET SMART to avoid emotional and physical destruction, and love needs AWARENESS, so that truly good issues and ethical intentions don’t become null & voided.  ABSOLUTELY, don’t give dark forces access to you, and guard your spiritual intimacy.
