Helena P. Blavatsky's warning applicable to our time:
If Theosophy prevails in the struggle, if its all-encompassing philosophy takes firm root in the minds and hearts of men, if its doctrines of reincarnation and karma—in other words, of Hope and Responsibility—find a place in the lives of new generations, then the day of happiness and bliss will come for all who now suffer and are relegated to the margins of society. For true Theosophy is altruism, and we will never tire of repeating it. It is brotherly love, mutual aid, and a constant devotion to Truth. Once human beings realize that only in this is true happiness to be found, and never in wealth, possessions, or any selfish gratification, the dark clouds will dissipate, and a new humanity will be born on earth. Then the day of the golden age will dawn.
