A king once ran behind the Buddha, desperate to find the secret of peace.
He expected a great philosophy, a deep meditation technique, a hidden truth.
But Buddha simply said: “The secret of peace is simple — stop running.”
We run after desires, fears, ambitions, memories, identities…
And the more we run, the further peace moves away.
The moment you stop, even for a breath,
peace appears — not as something to be achieved,
but as something that was always waiting within you.
