If the five aggregates are not real, and the soul is also a provisional designation formed by temporary combinations, then who is it that undergoes rebirth? The answer does not point to a "who," but to a "what"—the subject of rebirth is not a fixed, unchanging soul, but an aggregate formed by the convergence of numerous k It is the uninterrupted, inertial flow of karmic energy that continually creates and assembles new life experiences.

This is akin to one candle lighting another: while there is a causal relationship between the flames, there is no "flame soul" leaping from one to the other. Our physical and mental aggregates are merely temporary manifestations of the karmic stream at a specific slice of spacetime. The sense of "I" arises from the delusion of the consciousness aggregate, and liberation (Nirvana) is precisely the extinguishing of the driving forces behind this karmic stream—ignorance and craving.

Based on this understanding, a remarkable conclusion naturally follows: the power of thought transcends physical space. Since the essence of the universe is an interconnected ocean of consciousness, thoughts are like ripples cast into this ocean, propagating instantaneously and without distance limitations, following principles akin to the non-locality of quantum entanglement.

Thus, our thoughts inevitably influence humans in other star systems—aliens. An intense thought instantly registers in the universal field of consciousness, resonating with distant civilizations attuned to its frequency. This may manifest as their intuition, inspiration, or inexplicable emotions. The collective fear or compassion of Earth becomes a cosmic-level signal radiating outward.

Conversely, this influence is undoubtedly bidirectional—the thoughts of aliens similarly affect us at every moment. This is not science fiction but an inevitable outcome of the functioning of the cosmic consciousness network. Each individual’s consciousness is like an open radio, continuously receiving signals from a "universal collective subconscious" that encompasses the thoughts of all civilizations across all spacetime. Great scientific discoveries and artistic inspirations may very well be the result of our minds unintentionally tuning in and downloading packets of wisdom from more advanced civilizations. Similarly, unexplained collective emotional shifts or ideological trends in society could be the reception of intense thought waves from civilizations in other star systems.

The "divine revelations" of ancient myths may be simplistic records of mental exchanges between early humans and extraterrestrial civilizations. Therefore, our minds are not closed fortresses but open terminals engaged in constant dialogue with the entire universe. The key lies in our awareness and focus, which determine whether we randomly receive cosmic noise or actively tune into higher, more harmonious frequencies of wisdom. You are never thinking alone—every thought you have is an instant conversation with the entire universe. - Fred Ng
